As a fan of the horror genre for most of my life, I have been a consumer of the genre across all forms of media for as long as I can remember. Transitioning into reading horror books, I am an avid fan of all things terror, tension, fast pace, stropes, monsters and if there is a masker killer involved, even better! I have previous experience working as both an alpha and a beta reader (though am new to the Fiverr platform) and utilise my previous experience as a professionally trained actor, along with practice in deconstructing text, character, dialogue and voice to offer a unique perspective on manuscripts.
My reader report will include feedback on the following:
- Plot
- Plot Holes
- Pacing
- Character Development
- Voice
- Tension and suspense
- Reveals
Sharing your work with a beta reader is a scary process (pun intended) but rest assured that I approach my clients work with honesty but whilst also championing your work!

Why Should I Book You For A Horror Beta Service?
I have consumed horror across all forms of media for over 25 years, from movies to video games to books and therefore am familiar, and confident, with the genre. I also have previous experience as beta reader so can bring a unique perspective considering I am also a writer.
What Horror Books Have You Read That You Enjoyed?
I read Richard Laymon books when I was much younger, including "Beast House", "Funland" and "The Island" as well as more supernatural horror such as Brian Lumley's "Necroscope" series. More recently, I have been enjoying Grady Hendrix, S.A Barnes and Ivy Tholen books.
