Main Responsibilities 1. Contract and Policy Advisory Drafting and Review: Drafting and supervising the general and specific terms and conditions of insurance policies to ensure legal compliance and the absence of unfair clauses. Complex Underwriting: Evaluating legal risks in major account contracts or surety bonds before the company assumes the risk. 2. Litigation and Claims Management Legal Defense: Representing the company in lawsuits initiated by policyholders, beneficiaries, or third parties. Arbitration and Conciliation: Acting as a mediator in disputes to prevent conflicts from escalating into costly judicial proceedings. 3. Regulatory Compliance Institutional Relations: Handling requirements from public bodies and ensuring the company complies with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations. Legal Updates: Keeping the board of directors informed about changes in commercial, labor, or tax laws affecting the insurance sector. 4. Corporate Support Corporate Governance: Managing minutes for shareholder assemblies and board of directors meetings, as well as maintaining the company’s legal corporate books. Labor Advisory: Ensuring that relationships with employees and contractors are legally secured and compliant with labor laws.
