FAQ
What is developmental editing?
A thorough, comprehensive revision of a manuscript that focuses on plot, structure, and character development rather than grammar or spelling.
What types of writing do you edit?
I work with fiction and fantasy, from romance to mysteries. If you have questions about a specific genre or project type, feel free to contact me before ordering so we can discuss your needs.
Do you edit manuscripts written in Spanish?
Yes! I offer developmental editing in both English and Spanish.
What does a revision include?
A revision includes clarification or adjustments to my feedback, editorial letter, or comments. It does not include a second full developmental edit of a rewritten manuscript. A new draft or substantially changed manuscript may require a new order.
Do you edit AI-generated manuscripts?
I edit manuscripts written by people. If AI tools were used during the writing process, please let me know before ordering so we can determine whether my services are the right fit.
