As an Exhibition and Creative Design Intern at Caotics, I support the planning, preparation, and installation of exhibitions, contributing to spatial layouts, artwork placement, visual communication, photography, research, and the organization of gallery spaces and events. Through this role, I develop practical skills in exhibition and spatial design, curation, art direction, installation, visual storytelling, photography, and graphic communication, while learning how to translate creative concepts into physical experiences. I also gain experience in project management, teamwork, creative problem-solving, and the day-to-day operations of a contemporary art gallery.

Interning amongst the Interior Design team, this creative and inclusive environment gave me insight on the life of an interior designer. I learnt invaluable skills through the tasks I handled, including designing floor plans for incoming projects, creating mood boards, learning how to make concept presentations and researching possible design trends, materials, fabric and furniture to install and source.

During my internship at Leo Burnett, working with the Graphic design team, I was charged with helping design social media content and advertisements for a sustainable company, providing input on how to enhance a brand's identity and pitching my logo ideas for an upcoming poetry festival to the team. I also l researched and came up with interactive ways of advertising a product, diving into the realities of creating effective, unforgettable and eye-catching advertisements. Additionally, being able to assist pitch meetings and discussions enhanced my ability to communicate my ideas clearly, and receive effective and valuable feedback.
