After gaining experience in previous roles, I progressed to a senior position where I worked for two and a half years as the lead of my department. In this role, I was responsible not only for handling advanced accounting tasks but also for managing workflows, supervising team members, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all financial operations. My responsibilities included overseeing financial reporting, reviewing data entries, managing reconciliations, and ensuring deadlines were consistently met. I played a key role in improving internal processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing more structured and automated solutions, mainly through advanced use of Excel. I designed and maintained complex spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting tools that helped the team monitor performance and make faster, data-driven decisions. This strengthened my communication and leadership abilities, as I had to clearly explain processes, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth collaboration within the team.
