Hi, I’m Kunal, a multilingual local guide based in Kyoto. I came here for my master’s degree in nanomechanical engineering, and over time Kyoto became home. I enjoy showing travellers both the famous sights and the everyday city—local streets, restaurants, cafés, photography spots and quieter neighbourhoods. English is my first language, and I also speak Japanese, Hindi, Marathi. I’m mainly available on weekends and weekday evenings.
