Working with the global team and different business groups such as Dynalite, Teletrol, City Touch and Color kinetics to approbate their Digital & Connected Lighting systems for UL/CSA/CE/CCC/PSE/NOM etc. standards. o Develop new strategies for digital and connected lighting systems to meet the global compliance standards o Update the team with the dates when all the new and forecasted standard changes that will be in effect o Work with the team in different time zones o Making sure all these certification agencies interpret the standards on common platform without any confusion o In most of these projects perform a dual role as a remote Project Manager and provide a status updates to the stake holders • Making sure the team members have the latest updates of all the standard changes (ISO 17025, UL 1598, UL 8750, UL 1997, UL 916 IEC 62109, UL 1699B, CSA-C22.2 No. 250.13-12, NMX-J-307/1-ANCE, NMX-J-195 and many more). • Coordinating with UL/CSA and other 3 party agency’s to approbate our smart LED drivers under Cybersecurity Assurance Program • Working with UL to understand the compliance implications for Software Cybersecurity for Network Connectable Products. • Getting trained on the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (Fed RAMP) • Communicating safety and FCC/EMC requirements to design team also offer solutions to meet requirements. • Creating compliance test plan and summary of requirements for new or existing projects. • Supporting design reviews and scheduling 3rd party testing also managing quotes, PO’s, reports and certificates • Performing internal construction reviews of prototype designs and pre-compliance testing to determine product safety. • Determining marking, labeling, user instructions requirements and managing UL files. • Reviewing ECOs and standard updates affecting assigned products and assessing impact on approbation status.
