A retired elementary school teacher with 40 years' experience of teaching English to children from 5-13, I am passionate about education and excellence in the written word. I have written a semi-autobiographical novel ('INSIDE'). I am also passionate about theater and have directed many plays and musicals including Jesus Christ Superstar, Oliver!, A Streetcar Named Desire, Dancing at Lughnasa, Death of a Salesman and A View from the Bridge. Studying masters of the written word motivates me towards aspiring to follow them by utilizing my learned skills to their best advantage.
