Hello! Let's see, I've been an avid reader since I was a little girl. I went from being a reader to a writer somewhere in my teens. I entered into Gather's First Chapters contest in 2007 and ranked in the top 50 in my round, after that I won a short story contest for one of the writer's groups. I've had a short story read on Mashable.
I published two books on Amazon under the Kawanee Hamilton and currently enjoy 4 and 5 stars on them. I have a reasonably successful blog where I share writing tips and detail me coping with being a widow as well as excerpts of my upcoming works.
