A painter specializing in the study of inflatable structures and tension physics. Drawing on my experience as a craftsman designer in the production of rubber, PVC, and inflatable models, I depict faces as either about to burst or just inflated inflatable toys. Through the combination of linen, oil paints, high-gloss white, and translucent pink, I create portrait works that combine a sense of childlike innocence, fragile tension, and transience. In the painting, your skin is taut, reflecting the dull plastic sheen, as if it would deflate with a gentle touch.
