I have been a professional in the Hunter Jumper, English riding business for over twenty-five years. I have been the "first instructor" and taught the basics of English riding and jumping to hundreds of students. I have a degree in Business Management from Texas A&M and am also a lover of books and a writer. I have written, edited, and published my own book. I have a blog, www.julietullos.com, where I write about every day thoughts and experiences. I have been published in several magazines. In 2023 my mother passed away from Alzheimer's disease. During the four years preceding her death I chronicled my emotional experiences through my blog site, www.julietullos.com. After she passed I penned a memoir about the journey called "I Will Walk With You: An Alzheimer's Love Story." It is published through Amazon. I love to write and I tend to write from an emotional point of view, hoping to connect to readers in that way. I am also honing my skills in proofreading as I enjoy editing "prize lists" for horse show managers.

I started Abingdon Park, LLC in 2008. It is a hunter/jumper English riding program with students ranging from five years old to adult. We have had tremendous success in our local hunter/jumper horse show circuit, North Texas Hunter Jumper Club, of which I am also the current President. I have the knowledge and skills to create whatever Equine related media you are in need of. I taught summer horse camps for over twenty years with a penchant for teaching horsemanship and safety as well as beginner equestrian skills, from a first lesson to showing 3' courses. I received my Hunt Seat Level 3 certification from the American Riding Instructor's Association before a person could even be certified by USHJA. My story "We're Gonna Talk About Bruno" appeared in the Welsh Review in 2023. I grew up as a Pony Clubber earning a C-2 rating. In the early 2000's before I started my own barn I worked at Windmill Stables in Richardson, Texas, where I was the Head Instructor. During that time I started High Rise Pony Club and became its District Commissioner. From there I moved on to become the Regional Supervisor of Red River Region Pony Clubs. During these years I was a three-time National Quiz Judge at Pony Club Nationals in Lexington, Kentucky.
