My life has been committed to helping others. I originally set out to become a lawyer but as we all know, sometimes there are plans bigger than our own. I began my professional career as a Social Worker in the Chicago area, working on legal issues specifically related to the Latino population. Currently, grant writing allows me to serve people in a way that utilizes my strongest skill sets behind the scenes, while actively touching lives on the macro level.
