I am keenly interested in data analysis and data review. My day to day job I am working closely with large data sets, through monitoring data loads ensuring the flow of data is loading as anticipated. Through customer questions of data accuracy and understanding through our software if the data is a true reflection of what they expect in their ERP vendor where data is input.
My job is to help give an insight into the breakdown of hundreds of thousands of lines of data to understand where the inconsistency or breakdown lies.
I have a keen interest in learning the ETL process and professionally want to learn more about this.
I work closely with our implementation team who have the exposure of the ETL process who can help understand which fields we are exporting from the customers ERP database through points of reference such as invoice numbers we can help identify if it is a data entry problem or whether something is happening at the ETL level

I work full time as a database analyst for a software company. I have a family who I am helping provide for and help my professional career.
What is it you are working towards?
I am professionally working towards learning more of an ETL role, through my currently role i have exposure to this and it is something I am keenly interested in.
What kinds of analysis do you provide?
Through the review of SQL querying databases, I often review data in their raw formats of .txt files and even covert those files to excel documents which helps format documents. This is often to understand which fields the inconsistencies lie.
Why am I doing this?
I am doing this to support my family financially however I want to get some additional exposure outside of my current day to day role to help myself professionally.
