Michael had been facing issues with his PCB project after skipping a proper design review and sending the first prototype directly for manufacturing. Unfortunately, the board failed due to several small but costly mistakes in the schematic and PCB layout that could have been identified before fabrication. When we connected on Fiverr, I performed a complete engineering review of the schematic, PCB layout, BOM, and manufacturing files. I identified issues related to component placement, power routing, missing connections, and a few design rule violations that were preventing the board from functioning correctly. After implementing the necessary corrections and validating the design, the project was sent back for manufacturing. The revised prototype worked successfully on the next production run, saving the client additional manufacturing costs and delays while providing a reliable, production-ready PCB design.
