Eliza Nails IT – Full-Stack Booking Platform & Management System Designed and developed a complete appointment booking platform for Eliza Nails IT, providing customers with a seamless booking experience and administrators with powerful tools to manage appointments, payments, communication, and customer feedback. Key Contributions: - Built a responsive booking system with real-time availability management to prevent double bookings. - Integrated Square Payments for secure appointment deposits and payment processing. - Developed customer appointment features including rescheduling, cancellations, outstanding deposit payments, and booking management. - Created an admin dashboard with booking filters, status management, rescheduling controls, deposit tracking, and booking deletion. - Implemented automated email and SMS notifications for booking confirmations, appointment updates, and 24-hour reminders. - Developed a live chat system with customer and admin controls, including conversation management and chat closure. - Built a review system with star ratings, public reviews, admin moderation tools, and restrictions to ensure one review per completed appointment. - Added booking policy acceptance requirements to improve customer transparency and compliance. - Enhanced backend security by securing API endpoints, improving database permissions, replacing exposed SECURITY DEFINER functions with secure SECURITY INVOKER wrappers, and isolating privileged database operations. - Improved database reliability, authentication workflows, and overall user experience through extensive testing and optimisation.
