I am currently working as a Remote Sensing Specialist at Geosync Pvt Ltd, where I support geospatial, hydrology, and infrastructure-related projects through advanced satellite image processing and GIS analysis. My work involves processing and analyzing Landsat, Sentinel-2, ASTER, and DEM datasets to produce reliable terrain models, land use maps, watershed boundaries, stream networks, and flood susceptibility outputs. I handle complete image workflows including preprocessing, band stacking, reprojection, clipping, and spectral index generation for environmental and planning applications. A key part of my role is integrating GIS outputs with HEC-RAS for hydraulic and flood modeling. This includes preparing river geometry from high-resolution DEMs, generating cross-sections, supporting 1D/2D floodplain simulations, and producing clear inundation maps for technical reports and decision-making. I work closely with engineers, hydrologists, and planners to ensure data accuracy, correct coordinate systems, and defensible methodologies that meet consultancy and project standards. My focus is always on delivering clean datasets, clear maps, and results that can be confidently used in professional reports and presentations.
