I will design shell and tube heat exchanger

I am chemical engineer with 15+ years experience in process design of different equipment including heat exchangers, distillation columns, reactors, absorbers, storage tanks, pipes & fittings, instrumentation & control.

1- Simple design of heat exchanger:

It will include overall heat transfer coefficient by my experience and it will involve determination of heat transfer area, no. of tubes, tube length, tube sizes, tube pitch, shell diameter, nozzle sizes etc.

2- Detailed design of heat exchanger

It will include overall heat transfer coefficient by rigorous calculations of individual heat transfer coefficients on tube and shell sides and it will involve determination of heat transfer area, no. of tubes, tube length, tube sizes, tube pitch, shell diameter, nozzle sizes etc.

3- Optimized design of heat exchanger

I will optimize design heat exchanger after detailed design and it will involve determination of heat transfer area, no. of tubes, tube length, tube sizes, tube pitch, shell diameter, nozzle sizes etc.
