A 3D model of the Earth is essential for planning, engineering designs, and landscape modelling.
It will be an excellent resource for anyone modelling a real city. The model can also be used in a distant setting.
These 3D models have a lot of geometry because they were photoscaned on Google Maps. The geometry's quality will not be called into question. While texture quality can be questioned.
