Engaged by Toolab, a Swedish Ecommerce retailer (tools, machinery, and workwear), after a routine tracking request revealed a deeper problem: three separate Google Analytics implementations running in parallel on the same property, invisible from the store's own admin panel, corrupting both Analytics and Google Ads data. I traced all three sources down to the root cause, including one hardcoded implementation found only through direct code-level inspection, and consolidated everything into a single, verified GTM pipeline. Rebuilt Consent Mode V2 from the ground up (migrated to a certified CMP, validated every consent scenario, fixed cross-page persistence for GDPR compliance). Rebuilt Microsoft Ads purchase tracking with clean revenue data and Enhanced Conversions enabled. Engineered a custom data layer solution for a product-tracking event the platform's own integration didn't support. Result: purchase data now reconciles with the client's real store sales, verified at the transaction level with zero duplication, versus a prior 39% revenue overstatement caused by the duplicate sources. Google Ads and Microsoft Ads now bid on real, consent-compliant revenue. Repeat client, engaged across multiple projects since 2019.
