Yes — an extension to 1 Nov 2026 can be requested in Play Console. Either way I deliver well before the date, so you're not gambling on the extension being granted.
My app is live but I don't update it — am I affected?
Yes, eventually: an app below API 35 stops reaching new users on newer Android versions, and any future update needs 36.
Does my app sell in-app purchases or subscriptions?
