I am a current M3 at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine who, despite facing what some might consider less than impressive stats, particularly as an overrepresented minority, secured interviews at 13 reputable allopathic institutions and PCOM. Throughout the application journey, I navigated personal challenges and persevered through multiple MCAT attempts. Despite these obstacles, I received 8 acceptances, including from a top 15 school, and maintained positions on 6 high priority waitlists. Ultimately, I committed to my top choice after negotiating a competitive scholarship.
