Hi, I'm Gian! a 2200 rated chess.com player and coach.
I help beginners and improving players climb the rating ladder instead of feeling stuck and create a plan built around your games
My focus is on the middle game, understanding why each move works, and not just memorizing what to play. Most players lose the same few ways over and over. I find those patterns and turn them into simple things to practice.

got another lesson from Michael and he exceeded my expectations and helped me notice so many of my chess mistakes. He also was very understanding and even though I had to delay the lesson he still did it with me

Exceptional work delivered extremely fast and with precise quality. Made the lesson easy to understand and went above and beyond, was a very open minded person and was very patient with me. Was a little hard to hear mic quality but it was temporary at the start
