These days, aspiring artists need great sounding demos to get noticed by labels and managers alike. As an artist, your money is valuable - Don't waste your cash (usually £1000+ per song) on radio ready tracks! If you get picked up by a label, they'll almost always insist on re-recording/producing the song with their own producers, and who wants to hear that after spending around £5k on an EP!
