Hi, I'm Garetha professional editor (this is my day job) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) who specialises in Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and all aspects of speculative fiction.
As well as freelancing for over five years, I have been working with a UK independent publisher over the past three years, helping them with their editing, proofreading and interior book design requirements.

Are you a native English speaker?
Yes, I was born in the UK but have lived in Australia and New Zealand for a few years before returning to the beautiful green fields and hills of Yorkshire.
Do you do custom orders?
Yes. Most of my work is custom in nature. Just send me a message explaining your requirements (including word count) and I will make you an offer. I have edited short stories, Novellas, Novels and full series from both new authors and also Amazon best sellers.
Can you edit in UK English?
I am a native UK English speaker so yes it's my native tongue. I also work with clients around the world editing for both US, Canadian and Australian English, including all spelling, slang, and grammar differences.
You don't seem to have many clients on Fiverr - why is that?
I have 5+ years professional editing experience, but just started on Fiverr. My other work was on another site where I have done more than $40,000 of business and am one of the top 3% of freelancers on that site. I hope to grow my professional business here on Fiverr in a similar manner.
What do I get when you complete the editing?
You will receive 2 documents. One with Track Changes showing all the suggestions I have made. The other is a clean version with all the changes accepted to make it easier to read and see the narrative flow. I also include in-line comments for any larger issues or items needing discussion.
