What is the difference between this and your beta-reading service?
Beta reading focuses mainly on how the story feels to a reader. This service goes deeper into story mechanics, identifying structural, continuity, motivation and cause-and-effect problems and suggesting practical repairs.
What material can I submit?
You may submit a synopsis, outline, treatment, chapter sequence, novella or manuscript extract within the package word limit. Please include enough context for me to understand the wider story.
Will you rewrite my story?
No. I will diagnose problems and offer focused repair options, but I will not rewrite the complete manuscript. Small illustrative examples may be included where they help explain a suggestion.
Can you analyse a complete novel?
Yes, but full novels usually require a custom offer because of their length and complexity. Please contact me first with the total word count and a brief description of the project.
Will my material remain confidential?
Yes. Your manuscript, outline and story information will remain private and will only be used to complete your order.
What does a revision include?
A revision covers clarification or adjustment of my report against the original brief. It does not include analysing a newly rewritten manuscript or rebuilding the story after major changes.
