Can you work from only a basic idea?
Yes. I can develop a story from an early premise, although projects requiring extensive original invention may need a larger package or custom offer. Tell me what already exists and how much you would like me to create.
Will you write the finished chapters?
No. This Gig provides the story architecture and chapter plan rather than finished prose. You will receive a detailed blueprint designed to guide you through drafting the novel yourself.
How many chapters are included?
The Premium package includes up to 30 planned chapters. Additional chapters can be purchased in groups of five, or we can arrange a custom offer for longer or more complex novels.
Do I need to know the ending already?
No. I can help develop an ending from your premise and intended character arcs. If you already have an ending in mind, please include it so the outline can build towards it properly.
How much of the story will you invent?
That depends on your material. I can organise a developed plot, fill gaps in an incomplete concept or build much of the story from a premise. Please explain how much invention you expect before ordering.
Can you plan a series?
Potentially, but a multi-book series requires a custom offer. This Gig is designed primarily for one novel. Contact me with the number of books and the level of planning required.
What does a revision include?
A revision covers adjustments to the outline based on the original brief. A new premise, protagonist, genre, central twist or ending would require additional development rather than a standard revision.
Will my ideas remain confidential?
Yes. Your premise, characters, notes and outline will remain private and will only be used to complete your order.
