I think the freelancer should do more to inspire and guide customers. For example, when I asked to brighten a photo, it could have also suggested additional enhancements, such as retouching the face, improving the background, etc. Offering a few creative ideas would make the experience feel better.

Great experience overall! Sometimes editors can be a little heavy handed in Photoshop, but this was the perfect level of retouching for my client. The silhouetting work was top notch too. Will definitely reach out again for future retouching projects!
