It's been an amazing journey for me since I began playing the drums in 1985, participating in a vast diversity of music genres, playing live and recording for different artists. I graduated from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California in 1995 as "Outstanding Student of the Year" which allowed me to be considered for jobs that require the ability to sight read drum charts, lead sheets, master rhythm parts, etc. I've been the drummer in several musical theatre stagings, jazz bands, progressive rock bands, jazz rock fusion projects, and many pop and rock studio recordings over the years.

I chose Fernando because of his wide range of drums and the fact that he records in a real professional studio, not in his bedroom. It was hard to choose among all his drumsets. I chose the Walnut-Birch kit, and have no regrets. Deep, modern sound. The performance and sound quality was perfect. Amazing...
