Spent 7 years as a writing center tutor at Gettysburg College and The University of Maryland, where I assisted students with a wide range of writing projects, including academic papers, creative writing, resumes, and cover letters.

Academic and Creative Writing Professor

Jan 2012 - Dec 2013 • 1 yr 11 mos

Taught multiple sections of English 101 and 200-level creative writing workshops across four semesters. This experience provided me with an extensive knowledge of rhetoric and argumentation, as well as effective in-class leadership and communication skills. It required me to read and provide feedback on a large volume of student writing.
