I am currently working in a manufacturing and R&D environment where I handle multiple engineering responsibilities related to die development, CAD/CAM, and heat treatment processes. My work includes CAD design and CAM programming, where I develop 2D/3D models and prepare machining strategies for CNC operations. I design components with proper tolerances and manufacturing feasibility, ensuring smooth production. I am actively involved in die design and production, including developing, modifying, and improving dies for manufacturing applications. I ensure that designs are optimized for durability, accuracy, and production efficiency. A key part of my role is heat treatment cycle design, especially for tool steels and high-speed steels (HSS) using a vacuum heat treatment furnace. I set and control parameters such as temperature, soaking time, and cooling conditions to achieve required hardness and performance. I also perform quality control and inspection, analyze metal reports, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions to improve product reliability. Additionally, I contribute to production planning and cost optimization.
