What data formats do you work with?
I work with Excel, CSV, SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), SharePoint lists, Google Sheets, REST APIs, Azure, and more. If you're unsure whether your data format is supported, just message me — it likely is!
Do I need a Power BI license to use the dashboard you build?
For viewing .pbix files on Power BI Desktop, a free license is sufficient. To publish to the Power BI Service and share with your team, you'll need a Power BI Pro license ($10/user/month). I'll advise you on the best setup for your use case.
What if my data is messy or incomplete?
No problem — data cleaning and transformation using Power Query is part of my service. I'll shape your data before building the visuals. However, for very large or complex datasets, please message me first so we can discuss scope and pricing.
Can you connect Power BI to a live database?
Yes! I can connect to SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and other sources using DirectQuery or Import mode. Live connections may require additional setup — please contact me before ordering to ensure everything is in scope.
Will you teach me how to use the dashboard?
Absolutely. Every delivery includes a written guide. You can also add on a recorded video walkthrough as a gig extra. I want you to feel confident using what I build for you.
What if I'm not satisfied with the result?
I offer revisions with every package (see tier details). I'll keep refining until you're happy with the output. I've never had a client leave unsatisfied — your success is my priority.
