Can you help me set up Claude Cowork on my computer?
Yes. Cowork runs inside the Claude Desktop app on macOS, Windows, or Linux (beta). I'll install the app, verify your plan and OS support, and configure folder access so Claude can work on your files.
Do I need Node.js installed to use Claude Code?
No — the native installer doesn't require Node.js. Node is only needed if you choose the npm install method or run certain MCP servers via npx. I'll pick the right path for your setup.
What's the difference between Claude Code and Claude Cowork?
Claude Code is a terminal tool built for developers writing and shipping code. Cowork is the same agentic engine in a graphical desktop interface, aimed at broader file and task work — no command line needed.
Does Claude Cowork work on Windows?
Yes. It needs Windows 10+ Pro, Enterprise, or Education edition (not Home) with Hyper-V support enabled, since Cowork runs tasks in a virtual machine backed by Windows' own hypervisor. I'll check and enable this for you.
