I help clients recreate, improve, and develop physical products and mechanical components into accurate 3D CAD models suitable for prototyping, 3D printing, and manufacturing. I begin by studying reference photos, measurements, existing parts, sketches, or supplied CAD files to understand the geometry, functionality, interfaces, assembly method, and intended manufacturing process. From there, I break the product down into its individual components and reconstruct the design using a structured CAD workflow. My process goes beyond simply copying the appearance of a physical part. I pay attention to critical dimensions, mating surfaces, tolerances, clearances, mounting points, moving interfaces, wall thickness, assembly requirements, and the way the final part will actually be produced. Where necessary, I also identify areas where an existing design can be simplified, strengthened, modified, or optimized for 3D printing. My projects include replacement parts, mechanical components, brackets, mounts, enclosures, drone components, custom prototypes, product modifications, assemblies, and reverse-engineered parts from physical references. Whether you have a broken component that needs to be recreated, an old part that no longer has its CAD files, or an existing design that needs to be modified for a new application, I work from the information available and develop a practical CAD solution around the actual requirement. I focus on producing functional CAD rather than simply matching appearance, with clean, organized models and practical STL, STEP, and manufacturing-ready outputs that can move directly into prototyping, testing, or production.
