Director, Research and Development As Director of R&D, I led cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and deploying technology-driven solutions with a strong focus on practical, industry-ready outcomes. Over 10+ years, I directed initiatives in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Wireless Networks, Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs), Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs), Network Security, Cybersecurity, and IoT systems-translating complex requirements into scalable, real-world solutions for clients across sectors. Key Responsibilities & Contributions: Directed full project lifecycle: requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, deployment Led simulation-based studies using NS2, NS3, OMNeT++, MATLAB/Simulink, OPNET, NetSim, SUMO, and Contiki/Cooja for network and IoT performance modeling Conducted data analysis using Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), R, and MATLAB for evaluation, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics Managed AI/ML pipelines: data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, deployment Oversaw cloud infrastructure planning using AWS, Azure, and GCP Supervised cybersecurity assessments, threat modeling, and secure network architecture design Produced technical reports, project documentation, and client-facing deliverables Coordinated with teams to ensure solutions met performance benchmarks Presented findings to stakeholders through structured reporting Tools & Technologies: NS2, NS3, OMNeT++, MATLAB/Simulink, Cisco Packet Tracer, OPNET, NetSim, SUMO, Contiki/Cooja, Python, R, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, AWS, Azure, GCP, Git, CloudSim, iFogSim, Jupyter Notebook.
