Do you want to make your writing pop? Make your voice shine through the text? As an experienced writer myself, I understand the importance of a talented and trustworthy editor to develop one's work effectively. Whether you're looking for help developing characters in your novel, or strengthening your arguments in your article or dissertation, your work is in good hands with me!
I will provide developmental and/or line edits for your fiction (short stories, novellas, novels/novel chapters) or nonfiction (CV's, cover letters, articles, dissertation chapters). Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a novice, I am here to aid you on your journey to improve the quality of your writing.
My editing focuses on:

Will every service be $20?
NO. That is the minimum I am willing to accept based on the word count. Please message me beforehand so we can discuss what you are looking for and negotiate a reasonable rate.
What is developmental editing?
Constructive critiques based on structure, style, and prose. I will provide in-line notes that offer suggestions based on what is and isn't working, and how to improve overall quality of your work. However, I will NOT edit the text directly.
What is line editing?
Direct edits to the text (through Google Docs or Microsoft Word) in which I will improve grammar, flow, prose, and clarity. I will also correct grammar errors as I see them.
Which (developmental or line editing) is cheaper?
Direct line edits take much more time on my part, so I will charge more for line editing.
What if I want developmental AND line edits?
That's no problem! If you're looking to get the most out of my editing services, I am happy to offer both as a package. Just make sure you message me to work out rates.
