Cyber Essentials shouldn't be complicated, and odds are if you're researching it, you've probably been asked to acquire certification. Organisation desire certification in Cyber Essentials for numerous reasons. It could be that in order to work with a certain supplier, partner or bid for certain contracts, Cyber Essentials has been listed as a pre-requisite. Whatever the reasoning is, we view the certification as a business enabler. The 5 technical controls should not impede your organisation's productivity for the sake of security. National Cyber Resilience Center is a UK police-led organization that trains selective Cyber Security students in various areas of security, following which we then gain invaluable industry experience by delivering these services on to SMEs across the UK. As part of the talent pipeline program my duties entail delivering the following services to our clients: - Internal Vulnerability Assessments and Report Writing + LoA Processing. - Web Application Penetration Tests in accordance with OWASP top 10 framework. - Security Awareness Training to both Board Members and Employees All services we deliver through CyberPath are in adherence with the National Cyber Security Center’s best practice guidelines to ensure both that the SMEs receive services that will best improve their security posture, and that we operate using only the best practices to build a strong and ethical foundation in our career.
