Founder and sole creator behind Casual Scholar, a long-form documentary channel with 483,000+ subscribers and more than 135 million views. I have personally handled every aspect of the channel from the ground up, including topic development, research, scriptwriting, narration, video editing, thumbnail design, titles, publishing, analytics, audience strategy, and channel growth. Every thumbnail, title, script, voiceover, and finished video was created or directly produced by me. This has given me hands-on experience not only in graphic design, but in understanding how thumbnails fit into the broader process of packaging a video, communicating an idea instantly, and attracting the right audience. The channel specializes in long-form documentary content covering economics, history, geopolitics, business, and related subjects. Building Casual Scholar independently has required me to take videos from the initial idea all the way through research, production, packaging, publication, and performance analysis. That end-to-end experience is what I bring to thumbnail projects: I approach the thumbnail as part of the video's overall concept and positioning rather than as an isolated graphic.
