Booking chaos was the biggest problem at Duskmere Hair Studio before I came on as Executive Virtual Assistant. Every appointment ran through the owner's personal WhatsApp, with no calendar system behind it, so double-bookings and missed slots were a weekly occurrence. On top of that, the studio had no flyer or Instagram presence, so new clients only came through word of mouth. I stepped in as Personal Assistant to build a structured booking and follow-up system that put an end to the scheduling clashes. Then, wearing my Social Media Assistant hat, I designed a branded flyer to showcase the studio's signature styles and set up a regular Instagram posting plan around it. Within a month, double-bookings were essentially gone, and the studio started pulling in a steady stream of inquiries straight from Instagram — something that hadn't happened before.
