Bypasss is a creative audio studio based in Katowice, Poland, built by artists, for artists. We offer music production, mixing & mastering, sound design, and full event audio production — but more than a list of services, we are a creative partner. Every project that comes through our doors is treated as a collaboration. We don't see ourselves as a service provider you hire and forget. We see ourselves as another artist in the room — one who happens to specialise in making your sound exactly what it needs to be. At the core of everything we do is a simple belief: art is the point. Not deadlines, not deliverables, not ticking boxes. We live for the moment a track locks in, when the mix breathes the way it should, when a sound design element hits and you feel it before you understand why. That obsession with the craft is what we bring to every session, every revision, every conversation. Our background is rooted in the internet music underground — hyperpop, digicore, cloud rap, experimental EDM. We don't just work in these genres technically, we come from them. That means we understand the aesthetic, the emotion, the references — and we can translate that sensibility across styles while keeping your sound coherent and distinctly yours. Over the years we've had the privilege of working with artists and creatives including Indecorum, Luvcrvsh, Parent Companyy, DJMegan23, XO, Blue Rojo, Kydekoi and more — across music production, mixing, mastering and live events. Each collaboration has been different. Each one has pushed us further. Beyond the studio, we produce and curate events that bring together electronic music, visual art, and spatial sound design — creating experiences where the audio and the atmosphere are inseparable.

KosaBuenaStudio professional traineeship

Jun 2023 - Aug 20232 mos

During my time at Kosa Buena Studio — a professional recording studio specialising in recording, mixing and mastering — I gained hands-on experience across every stage of the audio production chain, from the moment a microphone is placed to the final master. My responsibilities covered a wide range of tasks. I was in charge of microphone preparation and placement before each session — selecting the right mic for the source, positioning it correctly, and ensuring everything was ready before the artist walked in. Working with Pro Tools as the primary DAW, I managed session setup, recording workflows, and maintained clean, organised project structures throughout every session. Beyond the studio itself, I assisted on location recordings outside the controlled environment — including sessions held at the orchestra hall at the Academy of Music in Katowice. These experiences taught me how to adapt quickly, work with complex multi-source setups, and maintain professional standards in unpredictable acoustic environments. I was also responsible for maintaining the studio itself — keeping the space organised, preserving proper signal flow at all times, and ensuring that all hardware and cabling was correctly connected and functioning. Understanding signal flow at a deep level became second nature: from microphone to preamp, through the interface, into the DAW, and back out through monitoring — every link in the chain matters. On the technical side, my time at Kosa Buena gave me a thorough grounding in the full mixing and mastering process. I learned how the quality of a mix is determined long before you open a plugin — it starts with microphone technique, the choice of mic and preamp for a given source, room acoustics, and clean gain staging from the very first step. I deepened my understanding of hardware integration, outboard gear, and how analogue and digital elements interact in a professional signal chain.
