I will create maps or floor plans for your tabletop RPGs, short stories or novels. I use Campaign Cartographer3 with the Dungeon Designer and City Designer add-ons and have decades of experience creating professional quality maps.
Floorplans can range from old-school design which is basic and is very easy to read at a glance, up to full coloured more modern style maps with textured fills and backgrounds.
I can create overland maps, dungeons, ruins and buildings form your descriptions or your hand-drawn sketches. If you wish to use these maps in your own commercial products you must pay for the top package which includes a commercial licence and an exclusivity clause (ie I will not sell that map to anyone else, it is yours alone), and you must include the line 'Map Created by B F Irving using Campaign Cartographer 3 by Profantasy software ltd'.
Your map will be supplied in JPEG, PNG and BMP format automatically and can also be supplied as a PDF at no extra cost. Floorplans will be realistically designed and I will research real-world examples of the buildings for you.

Can I use the maps in my Commercial Products?
If you pay for a commercial licence or for a package that automatically includes one you may include the map or floor plan in your own product subject to that licence.
What are the terms of your commercial licence?
You must add the line 'Map Created by B F Irving using Campaign Cartographer 3 by Profantasy software ltd' to your products credit page and may not sell the map by itself, you must add content of your own (A story or an RPG adventure scenario for example).
Can I buy map now and update it with a commercial licence later?
Yes you can. Before publishing your product get in touch to arrange to update the licence to a commercial one.
Will my map have a grid on it?
Only if you want it to. I can add a square or hexagonal grid very easily so just let me know if you want the map with or without the grid.
What if I want one version with and one without the gird?
No problem. I can add or remove a grid with a few mouse clicks. If you want both versions then I will send you both at no extra cost.
What experience do you have of making maps and floor plans?
I design all the maps and floorplans for Gethsemane Games products. One of my most successful lines is the 'GM's maps' range with thousands of maps sold. I have also created maps for some products by WeirdWorld studios and several authors.
Can the floor plan I order be based on real world examples of the type building in question?
If you are looking for realistic maps of a type of building that exists int eh real world I will research them for you and create a map based on sound architecture. The map will not be a copy of any single particular real-world building but will be based on several.
How detailed will the map be?
You can view the examples provided to get an idea of how detailed maps in the various packages are. If you are still uncertain please feel free to contact me and ask specific questions.
