FAQ
1. Will the chatbot make up answers?
No. It answers only from your documents and cites the source passage, so you can verify every response. If the answer isn't in your data, it says so rather than guessing. I also measure this before delivery with 20 test questions.
2. Who pays for the OpenAI/API costs?
You do, through your own API key — usage is billed directly to you and stays under your control. I'll estimate your monthly cost upfront. If you'd rather avoid API fees entirely, I can build it on open-source models instead.
3. Is my data private?
Yes. I can build the system fully self-hosted with open-source models, so your documents never leave your infrastructure. I'm happy to sign an NDA, and I delete all project files after delivery unless you ask otherwise.
4. Can you connect it to my existing app or website?
Yes. I deliver an API endpoint you can call from your own product, and I can build a chat widget for your site or connect it to Slack. Standard and Premium include integration; message me with your stack.
5. What happens when I add new documents later?
On Basic and Standard you re-run the ingestion script I provide. Premium includes scheduled re-indexing, so new documents are picked up automatically and your answers stay current without any manual work.
