As a freelance automation architect for Wesser GmbH since 2023, my core mandate has been to eliminate operational bottlenecks by engineering intelligent, hands-off automation systems. Working with an enterprise-level German organization, reliability and scalability are strict requirements. During this process, I have successfully transformed their manual, time-intensive processes into highly efficient, autonomous data pipelines. A major pillar of this work is the 'omnichannel content automation pipeline' I architected from scratch. Previously, their teams struggled with manually monitoring, extracting, and formatting media across diverse platforms. To solve this, I designed a scalable "content factory" utilizing advanced object-oriented design patterns—specifically Factory, Command, and Observer. This system autonomously scrapes new content from YouTube, Instagram, corporate websites, and PDF magazine issues. It uses Firestore as a metadata store to track incremental updates—ensuring zero duplicate posts—and publishes directly to WordPress. Furthermore, I built the entire framework to be YAML-driven, allowing non-technical staff to adjust task definitions and sources seamlessly without ever touching the core Python codebase. Building on that data ingestion, I also engineered a highly complex geospatial AI recommendation engine to ensure the right content reaches the exact right audience. Taking the unstructured scraped data, my custom Python module categorizes the content into strict geographical tiers: Country (BV), State (LV), and Region (RV). The system intelligently maps this content to specific physical Points of Interest (POIs), which act as the company's regional centers. Using custom algorithmic logic, the engine calculates a dynamic 60-kilometer radius around these POIs. Users within that radius receive highly localized, personalized content recommendations driven by a blend of proximity mapping and content-based filtering.
