I am currently working as a Team Lead for Bookkeeping and Internal Audit, where I manage and review accounting work for US, Canada, UAE-based clients using QuickBooks Online. My role involves overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping, reviewing bank and credit card reconciliations, and ensuring transactions are correctly categorized and supported. I regularly clean up books by fixing historical errors, clearing uncategorized transactions, and resolving reconciliation differences. In addition, I apply an internal audit approach by using review checklists and controls to ensure accuracy and consistency before final reporting. I also guide and review the work of bookkeepers to make sure clients receive clean, organized, and reliable financial reports. This experience allows me to deliver audit-ready books, accurate monthly reports, and peace of mind to business owners.

I performed detailed reviews of bank statements, ledgers, and supporting documents, carried out bank reconciliations, and identified errors, missing entries, and misclassifications in financial records.
