Well, hello there authors! I am offering my services as a beta reader for the Young Adult Female demographic. I will give you kind, but steadily honest feedback about your book. I will treat your story as if it is my own, with RESPECT, because I want to see you succeed. I love all genres! I am an African American woman who has majored in psychology and taken sociology courses at UC Berkeley in Race and Gender studies. I recommend my sensitivity reading services to everyone!

What I do

1.   A Summary of my analysis of the main character and themes.

2.   Feedback on each chapter for elements such as plot, character development, world building, pacing, and tone

3.   Straight-forward and honest critique of my overall enjoyment with feedback on why I felt the way I did and what improvements can be made.

I am able to read scrivener, word, or Google docs. With Google docs you will get annotations on your document. For scrivener and word files you will receive a separate doc.

As a sensitivity reader, I check your story for racial and gender sensitivity and make sure that any offense towards sensitive groups is used with intention to show character/world flaws. Be #cancelproof!
