In our coaching sessions, we can analyse games you have played and solve problems ranging from tactical puzzels to endgames. Or go through opening theory and discuss plans for the middle game; there are many posibilities to improve your weaknesses so You can reach your goals faster!
We will be (video) calling via zoom during sessions, with a chess program which fits you the best (Lichess, chess.com, chessbase). I am still studying, so late afternoons/evenings are most practical for me (CEST, UTC+2, the Netherlands).

When I was six years old, I started playing chess. I remember a time where I had to calculate how the knight moves. Since then, I’ve been enjoying the game for more than a decade. Now, I’m 18 years old and still improving with a FIDE rating of 1850 in rapid.
As a critical thinker, I am skilled at analyzing games in great depth. I can help you take your game to the next level by identifying and building on your strengths, pinpointing weaknesses, and working to improve them.

What will we be doing during a session?
We can train many different things, including: * Going through opening theory * Doing endgame/tactical exercises * Analysing your (over the board played) games * Playing each other (I can prepare against a specific line) * Your suggestions
Do you have a chess coach yourself?
Yes! He is an IM and we train once a week. I’ve learnt many new skills and ways of thinking, which we can also discuss of course.
Do you have any other experience with coaching?
I do, sort of. I teach kids the game at my local chess club, which I really enjoy. So I know quite well what some people’s thought processes are while playing.
Which openings are you familiar with:?
I’ve played quite a lot of openings, ranging from the Petroff and Vienna Gambit, to the Caro-kann defense and many more. I know most openings quite well, but my expertise lies within the Catalan, Grünfeld and Najdorf.

I would normaly pay around 30$-40$ for this training, 10 bucks is just a steal for the expertise Argentum has. I asked about really specific settings and he immediately knew how to fix the problem. At this price, it's an absolute no brainerhighly recommended!
