Can I see the styles Vellum uses for fonts, chapters, headers, ornaments, etc.?
Yes! Go to https: //help.vellum. pub/ styles/ to see the 24 different looks you can get with Vellum.
What kinds of books do you format?
I can work with any type of fiction and narrative nonfiction, but NOT cookbooks, textbooks, workbooks, comic books, illustrated children's books, or other graphics-heavy manuscripts.
Can I include hyperlinks in my book?
Yes! I can include URL links to social media, reference websites, and personal webpages.
What kind of files should I send you?
I will need a DOCX file of the manuscript to begin work. For the best results, your text should be error free with clearly marked chapter breaks.
How do you handle ebook covers?
If you have a cover, send it to me as a JPEG or PNG file and I will add it to your ebook file. An ebook cover should be at least 1,600 pixels wide by 2,560 pixels tall. If you don't have a cover, I can create a unique design for your ebook and print book.
Can you turn my series into a box set?
Yes! Please order each book in the set separately plus ONE extra box set service.
Can you add images to my book?
Yes! I'll include up to 5 images per order free, plus $5 for every extra 5 images. JPEG or PNG images should be at least 75 DPI and about 500 x 500 pixels in size. Please send instructions where the images should be placed. Warning; images can increase the file size and reduce royalties.
What languages do you support?
I can work with English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, or any language that uses Roman characters.
What do you need to create a cover?
To make a cover I will need: Author name Author Bio & Photo (optional, for print only) Title Subtitle (if any) Log line (if any) Back cover copy (print only)
Can you make a large print edition?
Yes! The extra cost is $5.
