Hi! I am Andrea, a musician and guitar teacher based in sunny South Africa. I have been playing for almost 20 years, and teaching for 10 years

Please note that I only work with students 16 years and older

Fingerstyle guitar takes your playing to the next level. It forces you to take a more creative approach to your playing. This style of playing also helps you to improve on other aspects of your playing. It will help you develop a deeper understanding of timing and rhythmic aspects, it will sharpen your ear so you'll be able to hear chords/sounds/intervals better and last but not least, it is loads of fun. So throw away every single pick you own and let's get those fingers moving!
