Alan is an established songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a degree in music from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. He grew up listening to his Dad's record collection that consisted mostly of the Beatles, Elton John, and John Denver that inspired him to pick up a guitar at the age of 7. His passion never dwindled, and eventually brought him all the way to Liverpool to pursue a career in music, honing his skills as a songwriter and musician. His songwriting reflects the "old soul" Alan is often described as, combining the timeless melodies of the past in a contemporary style.
