Trainee Engineer – Ibrahim Fibres Limited Department: Coal Fired Power Plant | Section: Mechanical • Assisted in 2025 annual turnaround of 22MW Power Generation: Coal Fired Power Plant (CFPP) Carried out annual maintenance of boiler furnace, conveyors, pumps, compressors, pressure vessels and heat exchangers. • Participated in the 20-stage steam turbine rotor replacement activity while ensuring alignment, inspection, and installation as per international protocols. • Inspected the Boiler area and Performed Non-destructive testing on pressure vessels and boiler tubes such as DPT, MPT, UTT, UFD & Boroscopy. • Managed and supervised a team of 10 people overseeing preventive, condition based and predictive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability. Department: Diesel Engine Power Plant | Section: Process/Mechanical • Acquired operational experience and managed shift duties Diesel Engines Power Plant with 5.3 MW with total plant capacity of 58.3 MW. • Performed Health Inspection of 2x Engines and predicted remaining life of engines based on wear and tolerance limits of gears, bearings, crankpin, piston assembly and cylinder liner. • Assisted in Commissioning of 4x induced cross-flow cooling towers.
