Una evaluación de manuscrito es similar a una edición de desarrollo, pero con un alcance más limitado. Esto significa que proporcionaré los comentarios sustantivos necesarios para elevar tu manuscrito a través de una carta de revisión editorial, pero no los comentarios en línea que normalmente se encuentran en una edición de desarrollo. Es decir, hay un entregable, no dos.
Una evaluación de manuscrito incluye una evaluación rigurosa de las siguientes áreas:
- el arte de escribir (mecánica de la escritura, lógica, claridad, legibilidad)
- trama/subtramas
- uso adecuado de elementos de escena como exposición, interioridad, descripción, diálogo (+ etiquetas y golpes de acción)
- ritmo
- estructura del acto
- caracterización/arcos de personajes
- voz narrativa
- uso correcto del punto(s) de vista (omnisciente vs. limitado, etc.)
